Coaching Terms & Conditions
“This document covers some essential basics about our coaching relationship — to keep things clear and straightforward. If anything feels unclear or needs adjusting, just let me know. This is a partnership, and communication is key.”
— Prathap, Men-Kind
1. What You Can Expect From Me
- →I will hold your agenda at the centre of everything we do.
- →I will hold you bigger than you may sometimes hold yourself.
- →I will always be honest with you, even when challenging.
- →I won't collude with any limiting stories you bring — I'll help you move beyond them.
- →I'll use everything that shows up to help you create the life you truly want — it might be messy, and that's okay.
- →I'll keep it light, and I'll keep it real.
2. What I Ask From You
- →A willingness to live your life consciously and by choice.
- →Ownership for your experiences and growth.
- →A recognition that coaching is about expansion and may challenge you.
- →A commitment to getting your money's worth — bring what matters to our sessions.
- →A sense of professional partnership — we are in this together.
3. Getting Started
Our first session (about 60 minutes) is about setting the stage — understanding who you are, your values, and your goals, and designing how we'll work together. It's a foundation for the journey ahead.
4. Session Scheduling
Sessions are ideally booked once a month (1 hour) or twice a month (30-minute sessions) to keep momentum. You can book your sessions online anytime via the scheduling link on this website.
5. Joining Sessions
Please be ready at the agreed time. I'll try to reach out if I don't hear from you within 10 minutes. The session may be considered forfeit if we can't start within that window. Sessions will always end at the scheduled time.
6. Rescheduling
Life happens. If you need to reschedule, a quick WhatsApp, email, or rebooking online is fine. Please give at least 24 hours' notice — otherwise, the session will be considered used and payment will apply.
7. Minimum Coaching Commitment
After our first session, I ask that you commit to at least 5 hours of coaching. This allows for meaningful work and visible progress. After the initial period, you can continue on a session-by-session basis.
8. Ending the Coaching Relationship
If either of us feels it's time to conclude the engagement, I only ask for one session's notice — so we can close things with intention, not just stop.
9. Fees & Payment
Fees are agreed in writing prior to the engagement commencing. Invoices are sent in advance of sessions and are payable before we meet. Rates for facilitation, team workshops, and retreats are scoped individually — reach out via the contact page to discuss.
10. Confidentiality
Per the ICF Code of Ethics, everything shared in our coaching relationship is confidential. Coaching conversations are not legally privileged like therapy or legal practice, but I treat them as such.
Confidentiality may only be broken if:
- →Required by law or court order.
- →There is a risk of harm to yourself or others.
- →Illegal activity is disclosed.
Otherwise, your stories, struggles, dreams, and goals stay between us.
11. Coaching is Not Therapy
Coaching is a forward-focused, growth-oriented partnership. It is not a substitute for therapy, counselling, or medical treatment. If deeper clinical support is needed, I will say so honestly and may refer you to the appropriate professional.
12. ICF Credential Verification
To maintain my International Coaching Federation (ICF) credentials, I may be asked to verify that a coaching relationship exists. By engaging with Men-Kind, you consent to sharing your name, contact details, and coaching start/end dates for verification purposes only. No session content or notes will ever be shared.
13. Intellectual Property
All workshop frameworks, facilitation materials, and proprietary content developed by Men-Kind remain the intellectual property of Men-Kind. Materials shared with clients during engagements are for personal use only and may not be reproduced or distributed without written consent.
14. Data Privacy
Your information is kept securely and only for necessary professional purposes. Records are password-protected and handled in compliance with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
15. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
Agreement
Engaging Men-Kind services — whether by booking a session, signing a coaching agreement, or confirming an engagement in writing — constitutes acceptance of these terms.
